Over the years I have heard of the big deal we all spend in celebrating the great holidays we have in this country.

This year one of the ladys I work with is a jehovah witness. While I may never convert her, and she will never convert me. I have become great friends with her, We both have a belief and are firmly planted in what we believe. However it is great the discussions that we have when working together.

 The one that gets me is they do not celebreate the holidays that we do. We seam to have good christian purpose for most of our holidays, birth of christ, christ rising from the dead.

 Well this has great meaning, great purpose, without it we would be just a religion. We serve a risen saviour. For that im am greatful. While I do not have lot of great celebration for this easter sunday, the comerical side of it. Or the importance of having to be in church this one time every year...... I get up every sunday morning to serve my risen saviour. Every sunday is a holiday every sunday... this is what makes us differnt in how we serve our lord. If not we would be just like the jews keeping the sabath, worship on sat. But we worship on sunday.

 But lets go back to the beginning for this. a day of rest. so how do you celebrate your easter sunday every sunday, is it your day of rest? Or your day to go to church and then afterwords run home to do some household chores. 

 Well this may not make sense to all. But to me I spend my sundays as a day of rest. God worked 6 days and then took a day to rest.  The sabath, But when christ raised himself from the dead. Now remember this day, sunday where we celebrate this, and take a day to rest.

so I have been asked by friends old, some new, why I have chosen the name dr house?

Well it started about 2 years ago. when i started working at starbucks, a customer came up to my counter and said did anyone ever tell you that you look like the guy on tv who plays dr house. At the time i was not much of a tv watcher, but said oh ok.

 At the same time i had realized what the purpose of my life was, to help people by coaching them thru lifes problems and helping them with a second chance in life.

Well my daughter moved to town that year and got me to watch the tv show hosue. while he is a sarcastic miserable man, I found alot of things in my life were very similar to the character that was played on tv. so i took on the nick name. Since my new business and ministry is now helping people I decided to use the name dr house. Im the dr who helps people get there house back in order, to set the goals and reach for those dreams in life that they once had and want to start to pursue again.

Its great i feel like a dr sometimes when I am giving some advise, or giving them a list of books to read to get there mind to be like the mind of christ.

So if you are renewing your mind, and find there is a dream that you have and want to pursue call dr house to be your life coach and set the goals to make your dreams come true.
