Our Daily Bread; Prophetic Call of Separation
09/15/2008 12:13:32 / Edifying
The Separation of Day / Night Created by GOD
4 And God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. (Genesis 1:4-5)
The Battle for Dominion of the Morning from Darkness
33 Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you establish their rule upon the earth? (Job 38:33)12 Have you commanded the morning since your days began and caused the dawn to know its place,13 So that [light] may get hold of the corners of the earth and shake the wickedness [of night] out of it? 14 It is changed like clay into which a seal is pressed; and things stand out like a many-colored garment. (Job 38:12-14)- The light that comes from God is light that is the source of life for all of creation upon this planet. It is also God tool to the elimination of darkness and for those who walk in his commandments to fellowship in. Verse 14 says that his light allows darkness to stand out like a many colored garment. Is that true in your prayer time with the Lord? Are you asking for the Lord to take vengeance on all things and exalts you with many riches for your glory? Or, should we inquire of the Lord and his wisdom that we may be separated from the things that can hinder our fellowship with him. In the morning as we come into agreement with him to walk in his day. His light should shine on all dark areas of our lives and give us a sense of urgency to cleanse it out or make restitution so that the peace of God remains with us throughout the day. What do we desire from the Lord when we pray to him? Are we praying for our enemies to be taken from us? Are we using the gifts that God gave us to speak spiritually over our days to manipulate it to our will? Or are we in agreement with his sovereign command over all creation and the timing thereof of providence to all things. The morning time is time to ask the Lord for his life (Daily Bread) and the Holy Spirit to be filled to function as he commands us throughout the day. The War of the Upright / By the calling of the Lord
6When I remember You upon my bed and meditate on You in the night watches.
7For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings will I rejoice. (Psalms 63:6-7) David was a man after God own heart as well as a King over the Children of Israel. Though a might man of valor David, had many enemies and many tough battles domestically that needed the surveillance and strength of God. We, as well, have our many struggles in life and the source to why we call upon the Lord for help. During David time, they had what was called the night watches a 6 pm 6 am surveillance over the kingdom for the infiltration of the enemy. We don have watches such as David time yet, the Night is still the time where darkness has opportunities to work in. Thefts, Adultery, Deception, and Murder are all big ones that we look to secure our households from. However: Arguments, Strife, Confusion, Evil Thoughts, Worry and Stress are just as worse to meditate upon before you attempt to go to sleep at night. As you meditate upon it it seeds into your heart, takes root, and bears fruit in the next day or following. So it is wise to do as David did, he meditated upon God word and his goodness that his heart in the night time was set upon the Lord. David therefore gives us an example of preparing ourselves for the next day by communing with the Lord at Night and even more at all times. What is God response to the wicked and to the righteous?
The Saints Stand and the Deliverance of the Lord from the Wicked 12 But man, with all his honor and pomp, does not remain; he is like the beasts that perish.
13 This is the fate of those who are foolishly confident, yet after them men approve their sayings. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
14 Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol (the place of the dead); death shall be their shepherd. And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their form and beauty shall be consumed, for Sheol shall be their dwelling.
15 But God will redeem me from the power of Sheol (the place of the dead); for He will receive me. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! (Psalms 49:12-15)
Declaring our Day, as Our Daily Bread
9 "This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread.12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven ([a]left, remitted, and let go of the debts, and have [b]given up resentment against) our debtors.13 And lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:10-13)
Walking in the day with our Daily Bread, Jesus.
44 But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,(A)
45[a]To show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike].
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that?
47 And if you greet only your brethren, what more than others are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles (the heathen) do that?
48 You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete [b]maturity of godliness in mind and character, [c]having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect.(B)(Matthew 5:44-48)
The Forgiveness of Men14 For if you forgive people their trespasses [their [a]reckless and willful sins, [b]leaving them, letting them go, and [c]giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their [d]reckless and willful sins, [e]leaving them, letting them go, and [f]giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses.(Matthew 6:14-15)
Walking in Light5 And this is the message [the message of [a]promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [[b]no, not in any way].
6 [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the Gospel presents].
7 But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].(1 John 1:5-7)
The Sons and Daughters of Light5 For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness.
6 Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect).
7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night.
8 But we belong to the day; therefore, let us be sober and put on the breastplate (corslet) of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation. (1 Thessalonians 5:5-8) A Day and Time of Separation and Order3 Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one].
4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do the things which we suggest and with which we charge you.
5 May the Lord direct your hearts into [realizing and showing] the love of God and into the steadfastness and patience of Christ and [a]in waiting for His return.
6 Now we charge you, brethren, in the name and on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) that you withdraw and keep away from every brother (fellow believer) who is slack in the performance of duty and is disorderly, living as a shirker and not walking in accord with the traditions and instructions that you have received from us.( 2 Thessalonians 3:3-6)
Conclusion7 For you yourselves know how it is necessary to imitate our example, for we were not disorderly or shirking of duty when we were with you [we were not idle].
8 Nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with toil and struggle we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden or impose on any of you [for our support].9 [It was] not because we do not have a right [to such support], but [we wished] to make ourselves an example for you to follow.( 2 Thessalonians 3:7-9)
- Christ, is the most perfect example to follow in any area in your life. His apostles followed after his example and were consistently filled with love, joy, hope, and strength. We need to do the same, the biggest error that we as Christians (Sons of Light) have is that we position our focus on imperfect men and women as our mirror. If they do this then it must be O.K that I can do it too. So if you mimic things that the Lord doesn like are you coming into agreement with disobedience? When we truly have Jesus and his apostles, as a mirror, it cleanses you from everything that is possible to defile mankind. If you want to become a better man, follow after Christ.Like to learn how to become a better wife, follow after Christ. Are you having control issues with your words or your sexual promiscuity lean upon Jesus to teach you how to purify yourself. He is the light and in him no darkness was found at all because darkness is death. So I exhort you to choose life and let his light unveil all darkness to you in each day that you may perfect your communion with him and be a light of his to this entire world.
