Betsy ten Boom thanked God for the fleas in her concentration camp in Nazi Germany long before she found out that the reason the guards would not go in her area of the camp where they would surely find her treasured Bible and confiscate it was because they hated the fleas. She knew God was sovereign even in sending fleas.

Eric Liddell loved running. He felt that since God made him fast, he honored God when he ran. He saw God in running.

C.S. Lewis said, believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. He used the sun to describe how he sees Christ in everything.
