Update
on Transgender/Homosexual issues On Tuesday, July 14th an extreme Transgender
Hate Crimes Bill will be presented in the
Massachusetts' State House for a public hearing.
This bill will add Transgenders as a protected
group under the law while providing them
with rights and liberties that not only infringe
upon the general public but also endanger
women and children. Similar
yet less extreme bills have passed in 13
other states already, for the most part20without
public awareness. Maine is one of the first
to feel the effects of these new laws; A
young boy sued his public elementary school
for not allowing him to continue using the
girls restroom, after biological girls began
to complain. Last week it was reported that
he won the case due to the new laws in place.
The school will now have to allow biological
males into female restrooms. Press Bangor Daily News for more information. Also a Denny's
in Maine was sued for not allowing an adult
male into their female restroom.
Please review the
facts of HB 1728 Act Relative
to Gender Based Discrimination and Hate Crimes This Bill will
- Add a new protected group
into Massachusetts law titled Gender Identity
and Expression.
- Define Gender Identity or
Expression as a gender-related identity,
appearance, expression, or behavior of an
individual, regardless of the individual assigned sex at birth.
- Massachusetts General Law
will be rewritten to insert Transgender Identity
and Expression every place it speaks of protected
groups such as race, sex and religion.
- Create a Transgender Commission
under the Massachusetts government with no
less then 25 state employed members to focus
solely upon advancing Transgender rights
and issues within the state; including within
schools and la w.
How
will this bill effect me?
- It will open all single
sex spaces such as locker rooms, bathrooms,
and shower houses in all public locations,
including schools, churches, gyms and hospitals
to both genders. This law will legislate
that any opposition to the entrance of these
biological male or females into the opposite
sexes spaces would be considered discrimination
and a hate crime. Bathroom Info
Link
- It will define Transgender
Identity and Expression so vaguely that there
would be no hope of any prosecution for someone
who is misusing the law, in regards to pedophiles,
etc. How can you legally assess or judge
a persons inner gender conviction when there
is no basis on biological facts or physical
manifestation?
- This bill will criminalize
all written information negatively speaking
about or portraying transgender. As written
"Whoever aids or incites such distinction,
discrimination or restriction, shall be punished
by a fine of not more than twenty-five hundred
dollars or by imprisonment for not more than
one year, or both size="3">RESPONSE We
are bringing this to your attention not simply
to inform you but for you to act.
The times
command a response! We challenge you to respond
in prayer and in action by allowing your
life to embody your prayers.
1) PRAY
- For residents and non residents we urge you to pray that HB
1728 would not pass. If this
Bill is passed it will effect each one of
us and our children.
As we
have seen with Massachusetts legalizing same
sex marriage in 2004 it is now going state
by state. We must resist and oppose this
bill now.
2) ACT
- For residents of Massachusetts your
presence and voice is desperately needed!
See details below.
Tuesday July
14th the Massachusetts Judiciary Committee
will be holding a Public Forum at the Boston
State House to hear the opinions of Massachusetts
residents regarding this bill. They are looking
to public opinion to decide whether or not
this bill will be good for the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts.We are urging
you to lay hold of this opportunity, take
the day off and come speak truth into
this matter. Boston State House
24 Beacon St,
Boston, MA Gardiner
Auditorium 1pm - 5pm
(Be prepared
to stay much later. Last year testimonies were heard
until 11pm)
< br> Also prior
to the Public Forum MFI (Massachusetts Family
Institute) will be holding a meeting for
residents to hear from legislatures who oppose
the bill and talking points for the day.
If you cannot make it that day we
encourage you to contact your local Representatives
to let them know your thoughts on HB 1728. Links for more information-

Losing 91.7 The Truth
DATE: 06/25/2009 11:57:24 / MOOD: Sad
I just received word that 91.7 The Truth radio station has unfortunately been bought out by a secular company. They will no longer be broadcasting Christian radio. Apparently, the economy has hit them hard and they have not been able to raise the necessary listener support to keep them on the air. This will indeed be a profound loss to the body of Christ and to this web site. We have had a strong and loving partnership over the last few years and I am very sad to see them go. Some of the best teachings I've ever heard were on that station. Not the least of which can be heard here: http://www.awmi.net/extra/audio God literally used the teaching on 91.7 to save my life about 7 years ago. Please keep the wonderful folks at KVTT in your prayers. May God richly bless each and every person working at the station and all of the many ministries that were represented through your programming. With a heavy heart, - Rob

Please Read! And Don't Say I Didn't Warn Ya!
DATE: 09/18/2008 01:21:43 / MOOD: Excited
Dear MyMinistrySpace friends,
I'm writing to tell y'all about an amazing opportunity that may not last too much longer. It has to do with investing in the Iraqi Dinar. Before we go any further... First let me state that this is for information purposes only.
I am not a qualified broker, investor, accountant, tax lawyer,
financial planner or professional adviser of any kind. Nor am I in any
way affiliated with any sort of Dinar selling/marketing group. I am
nothing more than a friend who learned about this opportunity from
another friend and who wishes to share it with you. So, as with
anything of this nature, please do your own research and consult a
qualified professional before making any financial investment decisions. I was advised that I should give a "legal disclaimer" before giving this sort of information out. So, there you have it. :-)
Having read and understood that disclaimer, please read on...
Value Of The Iraqi Dinar Continues To Go Up
Here's a little background history. From 1932 to 1982, the value of the Dinar fluctuated between $4.86 US and $3.22 US PER DINAR. After the US invasion of Iraq and the capture of Saddam Hussein, its value plummeted to nearly 4000 IQD to 1 USD. Then, on October 15, 2003, a New Iraqi Dinar was introduced to replace the old 'Saddam pictured' Dinar, and its value has steadily increased ever since.
Check out the chart below to see how much the value has increased just since 2006.
Source
So, while all the "safe bets" have left investors and stock brokers looking like this guy, the "risky" Dinar continues to look good. In fact, watch this recent, very interesting 3 mintute video from the Bloomberg News show:

http://www.myministrymedia.com/link.php?M=16035&N=116&L=101&F=H
The analyst in that video says this kind of investment is only for "widows and orphans" and that it's not for "serious investors." Well, now the "serious investors" are losing their shirts. So, I guess it's a good thing you can get a hundred thousand Dinars for less than a hundred bucks! And contrary to what this guy says, it's not that hard to get. You can go to your local Chase Bank and simply purchase the foreign currency. If you don't have a Chase Bank to go to, the guy who got me involved got his through dinartrade.com and says he's had no problems with that source either.
Why Chase Bank?
Regardless of the chaos going on with the U.S. banking institutions right now, Chase Bank is still one of the strongest in America. It also happens to be heading up the 13 bank consortium that has been working to establish the Central Bank of Iraq. If JP Morgan is that interested in investing in Iraq, it's worth taking notice. As far as I know, Chase is the only bank that will let you buy Iraqi Dinars. That's where I got mine.
Why am I telling you about this?
I'm telling you about this because I care about you and I believe that in these troubled times, this is an incredible opportunity that can be taken advantage of for very little money. A $100 investment could yeild $100,000 virtually overnight (or within a very short period of time if this current upward trend continues). Is it a risk? Of course it is. The Middle East is constantly in turmoil. But as my dad says, "Never invest more than you're willing to lose." I could spend $100 taking my family to the movies - so why not skip the movie and take a little "risk" right?
Here's the deal... Iraq s current situation is similar to that of Japan and Germany after World War II. Their economies were at rock bottom so you could buy up lots of their currency at a very cheap price. Once their economies were back on track, anyone who had taken advantage of the situation became extremely wealthy, almost overnight!
The idea here is that eventually the value of the Iraqi Dinar will raise back up to at least a 1 to 1 ratio - but many believe it could go as high as it was before the invasion of Kuwait ($3.20 USD to 1 IQD) - or even higher. So, you buy it now while it's still cheap, then when it raises in value, you go back to the bank and exchange it back for US currency.
For example, you can purchase 500,000 Dinar for about $480. When the Dinar reaches a 1 to 1 ratio, your small investment just turned into $500,000. If it goes back to it's old value (1 IQD = $3.20 USD), your $480 investment just turned into more than $1.5 million! Not a bad deal. I'd like to see any other investment pay off that big - that fast.
Don't believe it could happen? Watch this interview between Glenn Beck and Joel Rosenberg and consider what the Bible has to say about Iraq in the Last Days...

More Reasons to Consider:
- After two years of economic decline, the World Bank Group estimates that Iraq's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) will rebound by 33 percent this year.
- According to the Oil and Gas Journal, Iraq contains 115 billion barrels of proven oil reserves, the third largest in the world (behind Saudi Arabia and Canada) Energy Information Administration
- The Iraqi Oil Ministry recently revived an oil contract with China worth 1.2 billion dollars
Time Is Short
I don't know how much longer this opportunity will last. There is a LOT of on-line speculation about something big about to happen - as in a potential RV (revalue) of the Dinar. I purchased my last order (for someone else) a couple of days ago at Chase Bank and was told they were all out of currency. It had to be special ordered and could take a week before delivery. My previous purchases were delivered the next morning. It could be that the sudden lack of currency is due to people buying them up and the government(s) stopping further exchange before the RV. Who knows? At this point it's rumor and speculation. But I figured I'd let you know about it anyway... just in case.
Well, as Forest Gump would say, "That's all I got to say about that."
I hope this information proves useful (ie, profitable) to you.
Blessings,
- Rob Skiba

Obama's Muslim Faith
DATE: 09/10/2008 16:03:52 / MOOD: Other
In Stunning Slip On National TV, Obama Refers To His "Muslim Faith"
In one of the most astonishing gaffes and
self-inflicted wounds in American political history, Democratic
presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama referred to "my Muslim
faith" in a nationally televised interview with ABC's "This Week"
commentator George Stephanopoulus. The "Freudian slip" confirmed what
many researchers and political opponents have been claiming, and what
the mainstream media has allowed him to deny, until now. While
Stephanopoulus several seconds later tried to correct him, helpfully
interjecting "Christian faith," it was too late. The damage was done.
Obama clearly did not mean his Christian faith, which would have made
no sense in that context... OBAMA: "And what was the first thing the
McCain campaign went out and did? They said, look, these liberal
blogs that support Obama are out there attacking Governor Palin. Let play games. What I was suggesting you absolutely right that
John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you absolutely
right that that has not come [Note: Obama defenders were quick to
claim he meant to say "his Christian faith". But if you are a
Christian, ask yourself how many times you... or members of your
church... or your pastor from the pulpit has slipped and referred to
their "Muslim faith"...???]

The Economy of God
DATE: 08/05/2008 18:10:43 / MOOD: Contemplative
Have you ever noticed one of the funny things about God is that everything in His economy is backwards compared to ours? Below are some random thoughts that occurred to me today as I was having some
alone time with God.
To get something you desire, you must release it.
To be the greatest, you must become the least.
To realize the dream, you must lay it down.
To work for Him, you must rest in Him.
To be strong, you must be made weak.
To be full, you must be emptied.
To be first, you must be last.
To receive, you must give.
To lead, you must serve.
To stand, you must fall.
To gain, you must lose.
To go, you must wait.
To live, you must die.
Boy, does that put some things in perspective or what?
It's almost like I can hear Yoda saying, "You must un-learn what you have learned." - Rob

!!!! GO SEE EXPELLED !!!!
http://www.expelledthemovie.com/playground.php
In addition to showing Hollywood we (Christians) mean business (by supporting Christian and God honoring movies), Expelled is put simply, AWESOME!
Pray for this film to truly open doors in science classrooms in America and all around the world... or at the very least, that it will get students asking questions.
I have been a passionate student of the Creation vs Evolution debate (since 5th grade). Although the film doesn't really address "Creationism" per se, it certainly does make a great case for an "Intelligent Designer" as being a far more plausible answer to the "Question of Origins."
Expelled was very well done and it certainly left me wanting more (to be said). I pray this is just the beginning of great things!
GO SEE EXPELLED!
