Because China is a closed nation Western Influence in religion is monitored. To be able to bring God to these people, and to be able to disciple them, I am working as an English Teacher. I teach English conversation in a school in Beijing, and when I am not there I am teaching believers "English Conversation" through the use of the bible, and discussions (question and answer). I need more ESL teaching materials which can be purchased through Hope Literacy. www.hopeliteracy.com I am also using this method to teach Gods word in orphanages. Once we are established it is my vision to Establish ESL schools in China, Vietnam, and Other closed countries. We teach the people the Christian World View through Marriage, and Relationship training, Parent training, Morals and Ethics, and Bring the ministry of deliverance and healing to those in need. When praying about my vision God gave me Isaiah 61 (whole Chapter) as the Corner Stone of the Vision. From this Chapter my vision is set. Father Hood is a huge issue in China, and teaching men to be moral and God fearing is one of the Core focus's of the ministry.

I am not affiliated with any denomination or organization: But I was mentored by Dr. Carroll Thompson and am a Graduate of CFNI (Christ for the Nations Institute), and I have my Bachelors in Sociology from DBU (Dallas Baptist University) It was my desire to find an affiliation, but while in prayer the Lord Spoke to me clearly that I am not be under any sect in particular. I am submitted to Sojourn Church in Carrollton, Texas (pastor Terry Moore). And am working on establishing a stronger relationship with them. I do not want to be uncovered spiritually and this is the reason why my first and foremost request is for people to take me up as a prayer focus, I know that the work I am doing in China is dangerous and without prayer covering the battle to bring Gods Kingdom to these people will be more difficult then it need be.

My name is John McBain, I gave my life to the Lord in July of 1993. I came to Lord through a divine intervention from God, I had not been evangelized at the time of my conversion, nor did I know any Christians. Prior to this I was a member of the gangster disciples, before that (at the age of 14) I was on the streets of Mpls. I am a graduate of CFNI and DBU. I am single and working on a relationship at the moment with a beautiful Chinese Woman who is devoted to God and to the fulfillment of His will for China. I am 32 (will be 33 on Dec. 27, 2008) I have had a passion for the persecuted Church in Far East Asia for almost 15 years (since the day I picked up a Voice of the Martyrs Magazine). God had me under Dr. Carroll Thompson's deliverance ministry for 14 yrs. as of October 1st, I will be stepping into my hearts passion for the first time. Up to this time I have been teaching my friends in China via internet conversation, while many of my friends have gone to and returned from China and other Nations in Asia. God has not allowed me to go (Finally once I died to my desire God in four days set all things in order). Tickets are bought, contacts are in place and I know that God has trained me up so that I would not bring shame to His name in the last 15 years.

To bring the fullness of Christ to Chinese believers through the teachings of Christ so that the Gospel can prosper in China through discipleship building (not just conversion). Many cults have risen up in China because of a lack of proper discipleship. Many materials that are common in America are not available in China, such as concordances and bible dictionaries.
