ENOUGH!

I am a Christian. I come from a very large family by some accounts the largest family on Earth. Of the 6,602,224,175 worlds population (July 2007 est.) 2,180,714,645 are said to among this family. While that is a global number the numbers in my nation figure out as 301,139,947 with 228,866,360 of those being in this family.

Now if you work out the numbers you will see that globally that is about 33% of the entire world being in this Christian family. Inside my nations, the United States, that numbers is more around 74%. Now while these numbers are speculation and guess and I would question the 2 plus million figure by the actions of the same, that is still a very large number.

Every day I keep reading that here in the United States, another family is demanding and being allowed to have their way with the beliefs of my family. According to the same place I got the above figures, this other family in the US is only about 3,011,399 in numbers. If you take all their kin and off shoots you might be able to press that number upwards to 33,125,394.

I speak of course about Muslim and other religious families. 33 million verses 228 million (and that was not counting Mormons or Jews in either set). Yet everyday I read or hear that some school is kicking Christmas out of school as to not offend Muslims, or I hear that Muslims want their own Sharia law, or that Christian symbols should be removed from public places while foot bathing stations and prayer places for them should be put in place.

Now, my Earthly family (Cahill) would never put up with an individual coming into our home and saying that we have to take down all the pictures relating to our family and put up a picture of a monkey, or some other image. We would look upon that person and inform them that this is our house, our family and that they may do as they like in their house as for me and my house size=3>

Why is it today that so many in public life (and way too many private ones as well) are so worried about offending those in the minority? Was this country founded on Christian principles or not? Even if you added in those who do not believe in any they do not even come close to the number of those who claim to believe in

Advocates for those in the minority try claim that this nations government is supposed to be religious neutral of church and state as their favorite mantra states. How many Americans could tell you where in the Constitution or Declaration of Independence that is 50%? 20%? 1%. If they find it please let me know because IT IS NOT IN THERE! In all actuality the Constitution states shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof (1st Amendment). Did you notice that phrase make no law or prohibiting the free exercise This simply means that Congress (the opposite of Progress?) has no authority zip, zilch, nada NONE! In matters of religion. Period.

This does not just apply to congress, but to all members assigned to the authority established under the constitution. In other words all states of the United States who have adopted and ratified the US Constitution. They cannot make laws that exceed or go against the supreme law of the land. Texas cannot pass laws about religion; North Carolina cannot say that we shall have no Muslims. California cannot say that a cross cannot be displayed here or there. Yet we have school systems that say that students cannot wear crosses, carry Bibles or pray in school.

I have no problem with schools not leading a Christian prayer to start the day, just the same as I have no problem with them not leading an Islamic prayer to start the day, or Jewish, Hindu or Carma chants. That is not the schools job. But to tell a bunch of Christian football players that after the game they cannot gather together and pray on the field SHAME on us for putting up with that. If a group of students want to take 5 minutes before the class starts and pray in the corner, who CONSTITUTIONALLY has the authority to tell them that they cannot do so?

ENOUGH!

My family (Cahill) will not put up with this any longer. We have never been ones to shy away from praying over our meal in our house or at McDonalds. But every time I see someone else doing so I will ensure that we go over and give them a high five and tell the well done. Every time I see an athlete kneel or bow his/her head before during or after a game I will go and give them a word of encouragement and lift them up as a fellow member of my very large family.

Likewise, every time someone tells me that you cant do that here I will lift up the name of Jesus Christ and tell them that I have the right delivered to me by God Himself to praise His name no matter when it is, where I am or who might be nearby. If you get offended because I worship and praise Jesus Christ in private or in public, so be it, but do not try and tell me I can not because my God sent His only begotten Son so that I COULD do so as I was created for the express purpose to praise Him!

I call and challenge everyone who reads this to commit today and for the rest of their lives to stand up in the face of all this and say NO MORE! Pray in public. Pray at school. Pray at football games. Pray and dance recitals. Pray over your lunch at work, in the cafeteria or at your desk. Praise God in song as you drive down the road, lifting your hands (one only please keep the other on the wheel) and shout out in wonderful worship to God! Drown out the person next to you with their bass thumping, fowl language filled tirade of as you exalt the One who gave you the very breath you breath in.

ENOUGH!

Pray for your family, all of them who many around the world suffer daily for standing for what are right. The time in America is TODAY to stand up and say no more. Families are slaughtered because they dare attend church, or refuse to renounce Jesus Christ as their Saviour, yet in America we will not even stand up and pray in school over our lunches because we might get made fun of or sent to the principles office.

ENOUGH!

Lift up and support one another, stand united with your family all over America and the world.

If you will not do so today, then when? Persecution in the United States is light. Sure you may get pointed at, made fun of and even threatened with a law suite, some have even been arrested and spent some time in jail. If you wait until tomorrow, next week or next year the laws will only keep bowing before the 10% who claim we can not exercise the freedom guaranteed us under US law and the persecution will grow stronger. If you will not do so now, look at yourself and ask yourself if you would do so if your life were in danger? Because that day is coming.

ENOUGH!

I usually do not ask people to forward emails and such, but if you are bold enough to say ENOUGH and willing to take that stand, please feel free to copy this and email it to whomever you wish, or point them to my blog. I have had enough, have you?
