Cindy's Story

Recently I received a call about a lady named Cindy who had a terminal
brain
tumor. Cindy had a request. She wanted to ride on a Harley Davidson
before
she died. Her sister Connie wanted to know if the Meadowdale M.O.B.
could
help Cindy's dream come true. I said that we would be glad to help.
The day was set and we planned to ride Cindy from Meadowdale to
Mountain
Creek Harley Davidson in Dalton, Georgia. We would take the scenic
route
through the mountains. It was a cold day but Cindy wanted to ride. She
was
too weak to sit on a bike so we arranged for a side-car. The morning of
the
ride we gathered, about 30 motorcycles, we prayed and we took up some
money
to give to Cindy for her to buy herself whatever she wanted at the
Harley
shop.
Cindy arrived with a smile. We gathered for a group picture and I held
her
up beside me. She said that she was weak and shakey that morning but
she was
happy. She also told me that God had spoken to her that morning and
that she
had listened. She was okay and knew where she was going (and she was
not
speaking about the ride).
We rode and God smiled. Cindy did also, all the way.
Within two weeks after the ride Cindy slipped into eternity, still
smiling.
To some this was a little thing, but to Cindy it was a big thing. God
had
given her the desire of her heart. I believe that it was a confirmation
that
God had actually spoken to her.
Thanks Missionaries On Bikes. You made a difference in Cindy's life.
You did
a good thing. Jesus said,"
If you have done it to the least of these, you have done it unto me." I
have
no doubt that Jesus rode with us that day. Keep rolling on for Jesus.
He is
coming soon.
