Police snare Pounds 200,000 ha

ABOUT 700 cannabis plants - with a street value of more than Pounds 200,000 - have been seized in a police raid.

The plants were discovered FendiReplica Handbags at a home in the village of Market Stainton, near Louth.

Lincolnshire Police swooped on the property following the arrest of four men in the Shorpe area.

Officers discovered the factory in the home and its annex on Monday in the sleepy village.

The four arrested men - believed to be of Asian descent and aged 41, 37, 39 and 36 - remain in custody.

Insp Zak Owen, of Lincolnshire Police's Horncastle sector, said: "The seizure was the result of some excellent work by Humberside Police and illustrates that cross-border liaison is as strong as ever and getting results.

"This was a large haul, with many mature plants ready for harvest and young plants being grown in nursery conditions within the property.

"The reason we are able to take such positive action is down to the sharing of intelligence, in this case with a neighbouring force and moving swiftly."
