Blog Entry: Exodus 23:12 "Work for six days and rest the seventh so your ox and donkey may rest and your servant and migrant workers may have time to get their needed rest. Resting is not just in honor of God but we physically need to rest. God knew our physical limitations. God knows what we need even when we do not know that we need it. Many times God has supplied my needs before the need was evident. There is a song I heard sung by Amy Grant years ago that says, �a reckless car ran out of gas before it ran my way.� I know God is watching out for me; I have often prayed, �Thank you Lord for protecting me from my own stupidity.� That pray usually comes after I should have been better prepared for something I have done.
