In 1977, two events changed my life. It was the year I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior... and it was the year I saw Star Wars for the first time! After seeing the film 12 more times that same year, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of his life - I wanted to make movies!

Nearly 30 years later, my journey lead to an international missions organization and my childhood dreams came true. My passion for Christ and desire to make movies are now my profession!

Today, I serve as the Multimedia Director for East-West Ministries. My job is to create tools for the various foreign mission fields (and their missionaries) to use in order to create awareness, raise support and draw others to Christ through the use of multimedia.

My vision is to make a powerful impact on the world for Christ through film, video and multimedia. If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much more can be said at 24-30 frames per second?

Most missioanries are not that technically savvy. But in an age where technology reigns, it is becoming increasingly more neccessary for ministry to stay caught up in order for their message to be seen and heard by this generation.

My vision is to create what I like to call a "ministry toolbox" - a set of multimedia tools that ministries can use to be more effective at conveying what it is that they do - enabling them to create awareness and raise more support to continue their work. MyMinistrySpace.com is just one example of the types of tools I have in mind to offer for little or no cost to ministries around the world.

In addition to creating a "ministry toolbox," my heart's desire and vision for the (near) future is to create powerful movies that will impact lives for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom.

As the Multimedia Director of East-West Ministries it is my job to create "tools" that empower missionaries to create awareness for what they do and to help them raise support to continue the work God has called them to.

Essentially, I have the best job in the house! I get paid to go to church with a video camera all around the world. In the past 3 and a half years, I've traveled to 13 countries and been able to see and do things I never imagined possible. God is at work in every corner of the world - and it's my job to capture it on film and video.

I work in lots of different mediums, from video production, to editing and special effects, audio mixing, 3D animation, CD-Rom development, web programming and much more. From concept to completion it is my job to create media tools that are effective in the expansion of the Kingdom of God.

I love to travel and experience new cultures, meet new people and share the Gospel with them.

The Bible - of course. Although raised on the KJV, I have really come to love the NLT.

I read lots of books about the Kingdom. I like books by Bill Johnson, Rick Joyner, John Paul Jackson and others.

I also love science fiction, conspiracy theory, mysteries of the ancient world/unknown and books of that nature as well as those that discuss the evolution/creation debate.

I like just about everything except rap, country and opera.

OUR WEDDING PICS!

Here are some pics from our wedding and reception. We were so blessed! Less than five years ago, I came to Dallas with little more than what fit into a Dodge Stratus, knowing only a small handful of relatives in the area. Today, I am blessed with so many great and wonderful friends that we packed our church to overflow capacity. God is truly a God of restoration and abundant blessing!

Everything about the ceremony revolved around the number 7. Our wedding was on 07-07-07, it started at 7:07, and it was held at 700 Rivercrest Rd. in Allen, TX. We had 7 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen too!

Sheila and I wanted our wedding to bring glory to God by ministering to our friends and family, so we turned our ceremony into a praise, worship and healing service. We prayed over our audience and sung praises to the Lord. It was awesome! And stories have been trickling in about people getting healed and delivered of depression and bondage ever since. Praise God!

It was a such a blur though. After three months of planning and preparation, it seemed like it was over in a blink of an eye. But it was beautiful and will be something we'll remember all of our lives.

The next morning we got on a plane to Florida and then boarded the Caribbean Princess for a fantastic 7 night cruise to the Western Caribbean. Here are pics from our Honeymoon:
