I am a work in progress...

Enjoying time with my son, Hayden, and our little dog, Annie and recently discovered a love of cooking lately. :) Learning to balance between my work, personal life and God. The Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Texas A&M - even my small group knows not to expect me at our lunches after church if the 'Boys are playing! :-) Go Cowboys!!!!!!!!

Just finished The Shack (Its a MUST read) by William P. Young and Just Like Jesus devotional by Max Lucado. Currently reading Becoming a Better You by Joel Osteen. Books: The Dreamgiver, Dinner with a Perfect Stranger, Road Less Traveled, Powers of a Praying Woman, Raising Self-Reliant Children in a Self-Indulgent World, Positive Discipline for Single Parents and continue to read my Bible, recently purchased a great study bible - LOVE the notes sections. Magazines: Bon Appetit, Self, Redbook, Glamour, Everyday by Rachel Ray, Gourmet and Shape.

Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Kirk Franklin, TobyMac, Third Day, Lifehouse, Audio Adrenaline, Out of Eden just to name a few. Peter Gabriel, Robin Thicke, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Lauren Gifford, Keisha Coles, Mary J. Blige, Elton John, Michael McDonald, Janet Jackson, Keith Urban and sometimes, Barry Manilow.

Braveheart, Rocky (all of them but IV), Remember the Titans, Gladiator, Under the Tuscan Sun, Ray, Count of Monte Cristo, Blood Diamond, Crash, Batman Begins, Coach Carter, The Last Samurai and yes, The Notebook. TV shows: Law & Order, Everybody Hates Chris, The George Lopez Show, SportsCenter, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, King of Queens, Two & 1/2 Men, CSI Las Vegas, The New Adventures of the Old Christine, Jay Leno (The Tonight Show), Martha Stewart, The Oprah Show and I must admit I occasionally indulge in some reality TV, Top Chef, Project Runway and even Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. LOL

Because I am learning to trust myself, others & God completely I am empowered to reveal what His love has done for me. Go forth, make disciples and teach them to obey the commands of Christ.
